About Celeste and Wesley's Legacy

While Celeste and Wesley met several times during their careers, their relationship was formed when they were cast together in the summer stock production of “Invitation to a March” in 1961. They were married in 1966 just before they toured with the State Department performing “Of Love and Laughter”. The Foundation was formed in 1998 to support Celeste and Wesley’s favorite charities, The Actors Fund of America and Arts Horizons Inc. as well as promoting education about visual, performing, graphic and other arts. The Actors Fund provides assistance to entertainment and performing arts professionals during time of need, crisis and transition by providing a wide range of services including nursing home care, assisted living and health care services.

Arts Horizons provides music, arts and entertainment programs in New York and New Jersey schools that educate and enrich the student’s lives. Celeste and Wesley were passionate about the success of these organizations and the Foundation’s Board of Directors is pledged to continue their legacy.
